PlayWorks Therapy enriches children’s lives through developmental therapy, speech-language therapy, feeding therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, social work/counseling services, therapeutic social groups, and our therapeutic preschool program, PlayWorks Prep. We value family engagement, creativity, high-quality individualized services, and neurodiversity-affirming care.
Since 2011, we have proudly grown from a team of social workers and developmental therapists into a full interdisciplinary team of providers. Additionally, we offer a half-day therapeutic preschool program for children 2 ½ to 6 years old. We also service the Illinois Early Intervention Program, the state’s birth to three program for children with developmental differences. Located in the Roscoe Village neighborhood, PlayWorks Therapy, is a community-oriented space that warmly welcomes all families. With a family-centered approach, we empower children to reach their fullest potential. We embrace each child's individuality and are deeply committed to implementing neurodiversity-affirming practices in every aspect of our care.
The PlayWorks Therapy team is composed of dedicated professionals, including registered and licensed developmental therapists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and social workers. At PlayWorks Therapy, Inc., our therapists create plans of care that celebrate each child’s individual strengths and best support each child and family in building the strong foundation needed to develop and succeed in their own unique ways.
